- This situation doesn't make sense to me. 640x480x256 is 1Mb Vram, no matter
- what the colors are. And grays are just some colors. You need NIH to be
- able to change to a 256-gray pallette, right? Can't it do that? If I'm on a
- Mac w/256 colors max, and change to 256 grays, it does the same thing as if I
- just open a 256-gray bitmap in Photoshop. Or at least its phenomenologically
- the same; maybe Mac palette control is strange. But, again, I think all you
- need to do is rig a color pallette with the grays you need. If this is
- wrong, I'd love to find out how such things actually do work, from anyone who
- knows better.

- Executor can't do true color yet, no matter what your setup. Wait for them
- to make money.
