Anything you save on an IBM can be opened by your MAC customers transparently. I'll post the answer here when I find out. The version I'm going to try is on low density floppies, so I'll need to convert them to high density on another Mac before attempting the install. Hope I can do it in less than 10 minutes, or all that work will be wasted.... I didn't really need to get it fixed, so I didn't play around with it much..
