  9. Yep, this happened to me and several people were kind enough to reply to 
  10. my post; I found that the sound support in 1.99q screwed up my system. 
  11. Try starting executor as:
  12. executor -nosound
  13.  
  14. It worked fine for me after that

  52. Where did you get this demo? I got one that was 4.4 MB, but I saw a
  53. Marathon 1 demo listed on another WWW page that said 3.1 MB. The one I
  54. got doesn't run on my computer :(( It installed OK, but then it didn't
  55. run. The sound sounded OK, but the screen was mostly black with some
  56. white text that looked screwed up. It crashed back to DOS when I tried
  57. clicking on a few places. Where did you get your demo? How big was it?
