  13. It looks like you'll be running into the classic problem
  14. where IBMs save their text files with CR/LF pair when you
  15. hit enter, and with a Macintosh, it's one of the two (can't
  16. remember).. When you open the file on a Mac, you'll see a
  17. box at the beginning of each line, because it doesn't
  18. understand the extra character.. DOS Edit will open a Mac
  19. text file no problem because it is aware of the missing
  20. character and will convert it on the fly.

  22. Executor should definitely fit the bill for what you're
  23. looking for... You can use it to write all your files and
  24. you will be virtually without a problem.

  26. Another option you might think about doing is to write
  27. the text files in DOS, load them up in Tex-Edit, and then
  28. you can remove the extra character with one of those
  29. CR-LF -> LF (or something like that) commands.. Then
  30. resave and you'll be ready to go!

  59. Mt wife brought home Claris Works 4.0 from school, but I couldn't get
  60. it to install...Install program kept crashing.  I understand that
  61. there is a problem with a lot of the installation programs.  My
  62. question is, if I were to go to her computer at work and pull off a
  63. sit image of the program, would it run?  I have seen that version 3.0
  64. is supposed to work, but nothing about ver 4.0.  Thanks.
