  1. Here is some of my problems running Executor with the video card Matrox 
  2. MGA Millenium. I have posted this before at questions@ardi.com and I post 
  3. this here if anybody could help or have experience with it.

  5. Under Windows 3.x (with QEMM 7.5), there is a random chance of success 
  6. for Executor to be launched properly, depending on the applications 
  7. running, before, or during the time executor is working. I have seen a 
  8. lot of fantaisist behaviour of the video once Executor is launched.
  9.  
  10.   OK I have test several things to run executor without QEMM 7.5, the 
  11. program works fine under Windows 3.x, and it is launched properly every 
  12. time. But, but, the video problems still persist when you try to scroll 
  13. with the Alt-Tab or the Ctrl-Esc keys between different applications. 
  14. These tests have been performed with executor in 256 colors mode in 
  15. 640x480 resolution, Windows using Matrox video drivers in 256 or 16M 
  16. colors in 800x600 resolution. Another problem I would submit to you is 
  17. that executor launched under dos with the -size 800x600 arg with only 2 
  18. TSR loaded (HIMEM and MOUSE) crashes systematically giving the following 
  19. message:

  32. Other resolutions 640x480,1024x768, etc are working fine. The same thing 
  33. was done under Windows with sames arguments, and there is only video 
  34. problems with the mouse cursor..

  36. cwsdpmi does not change anything of the symptoms described above, 
  37. although, I wonder if Windows does (or not) provide a DPMI support?
