- I'm having trouble with Executor under Linux with XFree 3.1.2 and twm.
- If I start Executor from an xterm, and don't move the mouse off the
- window before the Executor window is created, keyboard input in the
- Executor window is sent to the xterm, not Executor. (I have twm set
- not to place windows for me.) The quick fix is to iconify Executor
- and deiconify it--then it works fine.
-
- Also, it would be really nice if I could use the standard X command
- line options (e.g., -geometry).
-
- And while I'm at it, I've noticed that when talking to another leader
- in Civilization, the colors get messed up.

- I understand that the goal of Executor 2.0 is to emulate a Quadra with
- a 68020LC chip, and that you are very near to reaching that goal. I
- was wondering how feasable it would be for ARDI to build in direct floating
- point support for game, graphics, and engineering applications. I know
- the 68XXX family of floating point processors is significantly different from
- the Intel floating point family, and it would require some considerable
- effort. Is this a future priority for ARDI? There's a lot of really great
- packages out there that only work with FPU equipped macs, and it would
- add even more oomph to an already impressive product if Executor could
- run them...

- Someone posted that ResEdit works with Executor 1.99q
- I tried and yes it loads but it does not open code resources and opening
- an icon bombs Executor with an implemented trap (I believe AED8).
-
- So, anybody else's experience?
