  3. I'm really happy to use this possibility to adress directly to authors 
  4. of Executor, the most interesting and useful project i've seen in 1995.
  5. I'm Russian and i live Moscow (so i'm sorry for my bad English ;) ).
  6. I've post Executor to many Moscow BBS's (of course, time-limited
  7. version). On my old 486 DX-50/4 RAM/cashe 128/Vesa 1.2 1Mb
  8. Executor runs very fast (swapping take a time, of course). No problem 
  9. when running some utilities even from MacOS! (Desktop patterns etc).
  10. So thanks for this great program! 
  11. But i have some questions. 
  12. 1. How can i use "alternate system font"?
  13. 2. How can i obtain "zooming boxes" in Browser? 
  14. 3. (The most important) Do you plan to add a support of Russian
  15. language, i.e DOS code page 866 or MAC russian support? Maybe you
  16. need for this Russian fonts? I can help - i have many Russian bitmapped, Adobe
  17. and TT fonts for MAC, DOS and Windows.

  50. I did not make Executor work under Win95.
  51. When I lauch Executor from Win95 desktop, the splash screen is 
  52. displayed, then I press return (or I give a clik in the button) and 
  53. Excutor start to display its desktop and FREEZE !
  54.  
  55. I use 1.99q version.
  56. My PC is a GateWay Pentium 133. My sound Card is an Ensoniq SoundScape.

  93. I've had HyperCard 2.1 working for a few bleeding edge releases.
  94. But I don't have a copy of HyperCard 1.2 to test. Stacks written
  95. using 1.2 can be converted to 2.0 and later but not vice versa.
  96. So if you are working with a lab of machines that have the older
  97. version, you might want to stay with the old version. So ...
  98. you might want to try a later version of HyperCard if you just
  99. want HyperCard. If Hypercard 1.2 doesn't work, I doubt ARDI will
  100. give it any priority. They try to work with reasonably recent
  101. releases. HyperCard 2.1 isn't very new.

  162. I try to launch Arrange (a Mac calendar/organizer
  163. program), I get the message:

  165.     "Unable to create the Arrange Scratch file,
  166.     due to a disk error: illegal filename."

  168. Any ideas about how to work around this?
