  10. It's a retail program, but a timed demo (allows ten minutes of use per
  11. execution) is available for download.  Be aware that all 1.99x versions
  12. are pre-beta code.  Then again, anything v1.99x blows away the old v1.2
  13. release functionalitywise.

  18. It's a single-program emulator, and comes with a browser that displays
  19. folders and icons and things (not Finder).  The web site I mentioned

  68. modern Mac software (thanx to fat binaries).

  71. older machines that are *considerably* slower than the II series -- and
  72. because of the Mac's graphical nature, those older apps are often quite
  73. usable today, unlike the old text-based DOS PC apps (which most folks

  76. Besides, my intention was not to "impress people" with Executor's speed,
  77. but rather to describe it as being considerably faster than it could be.
  78. E/D is somewhat faster than it needs to be to get constructive work
  79. (and effective play) done.  What more does one require?

  105. I heard from Cliff and Mat again last night.  They are indeed in booth
  106. 4566 as they're supposed to be, and they now have an ARDI sign which
  107. may help people to find them more easily.

  109. Demonstrations have been generally going well, except for one
  110. embarrassing moment when Executor froze in front of Apple staff.
  111. Cliff had a meeting with Guy Kawasaki of Apple, and picked up a few
  112. tips for directions ARDI may want to follow.

  114. The guys have given out many hundreds of business cards, and WWW site
  115. hits are up.
