Hey, Cliff and Mat they told me they went to MacWorld!  I wonder if
they just snuck off somewhere to goof off for a week?

Seriously, I'll ask today what booth they're in so other MacWorld
visitors can find them.

This could be old news but I havn't heard of anyone getting it to work.

I have a 486DX4100 and use Univbe 5.1a with my Cirrus Logic 5428 1M ram. I can
get doom working without sound and music. Also I get about 2-3 fps avg. 5 max,
in the smallest window with small graphics. (Please Dont Laugh :)

I was hoping that one of you guys with a new P-166 or P6 could give it a try
and give back your results so the rest of us can get a better idea what it
will take to run the damn gamn smoooooth.

Here are the settings so ya curious types can get the game to work

Screen update: Normal
System: 7.1.0
Refresh: experiment (I use 15 cause I got painfully slow video)
Sound: Pretend or On
And I dont mark any of the boxes in the config menu.

When the Doom title screen comes on, quickly change your settings to
Sound OFF and Small Graphics for better performance.
If you do leave the sound on when you hit enter to start the game. You will
hear the gun shot sound. Soon after a little error message will show up.

Executor: Fatal Error

then it gives you the option to restart.
