It won't load. Also it won"t recognize a floppy when I do CheckDisk when I'm in E/D, but CDROM is fine-when I start E/D or in E/D, accept it won't give a anme to the CDROM, just a drive letter (ie f). As for Exec199p8, it won't even start it. Exec199p8 will start up until you move the mouse, then I'm kicked out. So I've yet to be able to test the sound. I'm using the recommended settings from FAQ on a USLogic P5-60mhz,16MB RAM, with SpeedStar Pro cirrus logic video with 1MB.The mouse is serial Micrsoft compatible. But E/D 199p9 will start in Win95, but Swoops won't(just sound), Maelstrom won't start, Marathon won't start(some sound). All of these worked before sound 'improvement'. And to try to start Maelstrom or Marathon under PCDOS 7 forget it: after 15 min of waiting for aelstrom I gave up. They were fine before...sound. Give whole new meaning to the letters BS, alas. But I do get sound, just no program. But, Bloodsuckers works great with sound I guess its just in the way the programs calls for sound that makes the difference. jim. jim
