  7. Hey guys.  I have read this list everyday for the last few months with
  8. much interest.  I looked forward to it arriving in my mail box (I get
  9. the digest).  I find people to be very helpful on this list, and I have
  10. mailed people specific answers to a few linux questions.

  12. One of the things that really sets Ardi apart from other companies is
  13. the quality of the technical support.  While executor is inargueably
  14. beta software, I still paid the full registration fee.  I want to
  15. support a company like Ardi.

  17. One of the best features of Ardi's support has been this list.  However,
  18. with the advent of the new newsgroup to mail daemon, my mailbox is now
  19. filled three times a day with mail of a questionable signal to noise
  20. ratio.  Where I once could count on reading upto the minute technical
  21. info and configuration tips, now I can read upto the minute questions
  22. answered in the faq and on http: ardi and vorlon.  I can also read
  23. people whining that they don't think Executor is a good deal.  This has
  24. very little interest to me, and I doubt the rest of your customers.

  26. So here is what I would love to see, this list continue on, but not as a
  27. duplicate of usenet, but as a place where people who want to work with
  28. executor, and have paid for executor (I don't really care if they have
  29. paid or not...but the bozo asking for another "demo key" should be sent
  30. all the core dumps every produced my executor INMO), a place where real
  31. information is traded about the executor project.  I would even go so
  32. far as to ask that it be moderated.

  34. In short, getting good information is hard these days.  I am saddened to
  35. see a valuable resource turn into a high noise environment, and I hope
  36. that something an be done to accomadate those who would like to see
  37. executor succeed.
