  32. I would add that performance under SVGAlib is *significantly* better
  33. than under X (assuming linear frame buffer support exists for your
  34. video card).  X is particularly poorly suited for emulating
  35. applications which avoid the Mac ROMs and try to scribble directly to
  36. screen memory.  Under SVGAlib, even those applications blaze.
