  28. For users of Linix, it opens up a whole range of software that might
  29. not otherwise be available without booting into Windows, such as 
  30. productivity applications from Microsoft.  WINE, the Linix Windows 
  31. emulator, is not yet up to the task, and Linix doesn't yet have the 
  32. installed base to attract a lot of the large mainstream developers.  
  33. The same can be said for NeXTStep.  But you do have a good point that 
  34. for DOS/Windows/Win95 users, most things you might want to use are 
  35. available natively, so for those users, Executor might be more useful 
  36. for a few niche application areas, such as games or graphics/DTP, 
  37. where the Mac still has a foothold.
