  14. I apologize in advance if this message already made it to this list, but I
  15. never saw it and I understand that there were some temporary email problems,
  16. so here it is again...

  18. I finally downloaded 1.99p6 and yes, it still runs DNA Strider!  Speedometer
  19. also runs now (when I boot to DOS).

  21. However,  I would appreciate help/suggesstions/comments from any of you out
  22. there who are successfully running p6 under OS/2 Warp.  Executor runs
  23. >>much<< faster under Warp, but has two (serious) problems at present.

  25. 1) Attempting to run Speedometer under Warp freezes E/D. ( I've got an
  26. ancient 386DX25 with 20 Megs RAM.  Under DOS Speedometer gives me a "PR
  27. score" of 0.236... you can see why I want the speed increase I get from
  28. running it under Warp).
  29. 2) More importantly, I can't transfer files to/from my floppy drive (and it
  30. takes forever to read the files on a floppy) under Warp.  I honestly can't
  31. remember if this happened under 1.99o.  If I open a file on my floppy from
  32. within an application, it pulls up an empty file (no info is read or
  33. displayed from the file).  If I try to copy a file to/from a floppy, it
  34. gives me an I/O error.

  36. Anyone know what Warp settings to change?  (Or does the solution to these
  37. I/O errors require changes in E/D?)
