  20. I don't think E/Dos is too paranoid about writing too disks, I was =
  21. installing Adobe Photoshop 3.0m onto a network DOS partition, using all =
  22. the long filenames.  Heres is what I do/did/have.

  24. I have a Mini network under 95, one 386, one 486.  My dad doesn't want =
  25. any of my "crap" on his disk, so I put the E/Dos, on a Plus HardCard (50 =
  26. megs), and ran E/Dos over the network.  It only found the System.hfv =
  27. file, and the Windows95 partitions.  I ran the demo installer program, =
  28. which died when it got to disk to, because Adobe didn't make the CD's =
  29. properly.  (I got the disk at Graph Expo in Chicago, from Adobe).  (It =
  30. also died on a real mac, with the message please insert disk 2).  =
  31. Anyway, I told it to write to a Win95 partition because I couldn't get =
  32. an hfv file, and it did.  It didn't have any provblem, the only thing =
  33. was, that the name of the directory was %Adobe PhotoShop 3.(something), =
  34. and then there was another file, that should have gone in the "folder", =
  35. called %%Adobe PhotoShop 3.(something). =20

  37. Adobe Illustrator 5.5 (demo) doesn't work.  Streamline works, but =
  38. crashes when zooming.  Didn't try PM.  Didn't try Persuasion (no QT).  =
  39. If you have any other Adobe products that you want tried out, IF they =
  40. are on the CD, I will try em out and let you know.  Ohh, Demensions =
  41. doesn't work, no FPU, and one is required.  You CAN"T use a software =
  42. emulator, no CDEV, or INIT support.

  44. Hopefully soon, I will be able to run it on a Pentium.

  46. Also, running it on a Pentium Pro, should not speed it up, becuase as =
  47. far as I know, it is not a true 32 bit app, at least not the DOS =
  48. version.  If I'm wrong, feel free to let me know.
