  17. Sorry for joking about the spurious "Clifford T. Matthews"s, since
  18. that joke has had a bunch of followups and I know most of you are on
  19. this list for news and information rather than entertainment, but I
  20. was a little giddy after comp.emulators.mac.executor passed with
  21. flying colors.

  23. As we said before, we'll be doing a gateway between what remains of
  24. this list (I expect a mass exodus as people switch to the newsgroup)
  25. and the newsgroup.  In order to do this more efficiently we're going
  26. to change our mail topology.  When we're done, we'll also move this
  27. list from nacm.com back to here.

  29. In order to get this transition done as soon as possible, we're going
  30. to begin tomorrow, Monday.  During this time we may get even further
  31. behind in answering e-mail and there may even be brief moments when
  32. e-mail to us bounces.  Please bear with us; we should have everything
  33. straightened out in a day or two.

  35. When we're done, we'll also be able to create an announcements only
  36. version of this mailing list.  We probably should have tried to get
  37. comp.emulators.mac.executor.announce formed, but when we did the RFD
  38. we didn't know we were going to have such an easy time getting
  39. c.e.m.e. created.

  41. All of this means that 1.99p7 and 1.99q beyond it are a bit delayed.
  42. My wife is also having a bunch of oral surgery this coming week, so I
  43. will have still less time to concentrate on matters ARDI.  Sorry.
