  19. Cool! technical information! Does this mean, the I, as a mac programmer 
  20. can write software that would be able to 'know' that it is running 
  21. executor, and possibly do executor/386 specific things?

  23. I did this on the Mac Emulator for the Atari ST in 1988 - My software was
  24. able to determine that it was running under the Mac OS on an Atari and then
  25. the software would access the Atari's MIDI port and timer hardware 
  26. directly.  Of course on a real mac it would work as well via the Mac 
  27. hardware.

  29. There are lots of fun things that could be done.  But please don't delay 
  30. 2.0 too much.
