  15. I am pleased to report that HyperCard 2.1 runs under Executor 1.99p5
  16. (at least the NEXTSTEP/Intel version). It used to run read-only and
  17. only if you set the refresh rate to 10. But now it runs (animation
  18. is slow, but that's okay by me) and you can create your own stacks.

  20. I am very pleased. I don't expect perfect tools. I expect tools to
  21. help me get my job done. Having HyperCard, ClarisWorks, and Word
  22. gives me enough tools to be able to not have a Mac yet still teach
  23. the CS 101 course here that uses Macs as well as Continuing Education
  24. courses. I need to be able to try things out, get screenshots for
  25. handouts, and exchange files/disks with colleagues and students.
  26. Executor lets me do that.

  28. I'm anxiously waiting for that NEXTSTEP/Motorola port but know that
  29. you will do it well.
