  26. I tried HyperCard 2.2 on a number of machines running Executor 1.99p4:
  27.    - 486/33, 8 MB RAM, DOS: unbearably slow, no chance to work like that
  28.    - Pentium 90, 16 MB RAM, DOS: pretty fast, no complaints
  29.    - 486DX2/66, 12 MB RAM, Linux 1.2.13: to my surprise, at least (!) as 
  30.      fast as Pentium/DOS 
  31. I never touched the Flush Cache option though. I recommend to try running it
  32. under Linux (if possible) on the same or a better machine.
