  32. With regards to QuickTime, I recall that there was one free animation file
  33. viewer available for X11 that supported playing QuickTime movies.

  35. Apple complained that they were violating a patent or something - So the
  36. authors had to REMOVE the quicktime support from their application!

  38. So ARDI should expect problems from Apple if they put Quicktime support
  39. in Executor.  My guess is that the ONLY way that Apple would let you run 
  40. Quicktime under Executor is if you BOUGHT Quicktime from Apple and it 
  41. worked in Executor.

  43. It kinda makes you wonder how serious Apple is in trying to make
  44. a standard, when they don't let anyone use it.
