With regards to QuickTime, I recall that there was one free animation file viewer available for X11 that supported playing QuickTime movies. Apple complained that they were violating a patent or something - So the authors had to REMOVE the quicktime support from their application! So ARDI should expect problems from Apple if they put Quicktime support in Executor. My guess is that the ONLY way that Apple would let you run Quicktime under Executor is if you BOUGHT Quicktime from Apple and it worked in Executor. It kinda makes you wonder how serious Apple is in trying to make a standard, when they don't let anyone use it.
