  16. I do run a PPP connection, but not while running executor.  I imagine that
  17. the reason Josh found an increase in speed was due to the fact that
  18. the PPP software he was running ate up enough memory to slow the 
  19. process down even more. In My oppinion, the termination of the connection
  20. stoped the flow of data to his machine as well as the ammount of memory
  21. being used.  I have watched the hard drive light on my machine run, and I rarely
  22. see it run when it's loading a DOS drive in E/D... So what ever it's doing, 
  23. it's doing IN MEMORY.

  27. Also,  I have tried E/D in a Windows 95 dos window, and at a Dos 7 prompt.
  28. For understandable reasons the CD-ROM drive won't work under a Windows 95
  29. window and so I just set the properties to exit to dos and then load.(under
  30. advanced options).  It takes 
  31. a long time to load either way.
