- I do run a PPP connection, but not while running executor. I imagine that
- the reason Josh found an increase in speed was due to the fact that
- the PPP software he was running ate up enough memory to slow the
- process down even more. In My oppinion, the termination of the connection
- stoped the flow of data to his machine as well as the ammount of memory
- being used. I have watched the hard drive light on my machine run, and I rarely
- see it run when it's loading a DOS drive in E/D... So what ever it's doing,
- it's doing IN MEMORY.

- Also, I have tried E/D in a Windows 95 dos window, and at a Dos 7 prompt.
- For understandable reasons the CD-ROM drive won't work under a Windows 95
- window and so I just set the properties to exit to dos and then load.(under
- advanced options). It takes
- a long time to load either way.
