Sender: owner-paper@nacm.com Precedence: bulk Hi, I have a Thinkpad 750 that at my work sits in a dock 1 connected via a Future Domain adapter in the dock to a 1 Gb HD and a CD-ROM. The whole is on a ethernet via a PCMCIA card. Today I downloaded 1.99P and was able to get it running again under OS/2 Warp. The latter has TCPIP 2.0 installed, as well as Novell netware requester Now, what happened was the following: When the browser appeared the network drives showed up in the active band! However I could not get any files visible in an open window after clicking on the drive icon. But, when I launched any program, e.g. TextEdit, I could successfully load files from the network drives, as long as they were at the root of the drive. When clicking on a folder it showed an error message in the band where the name of the folder should have appeared. So, this means that Executor, under Warp, is almost network savvy! It looks as if little hacking is needed to get it really running well. At present our Novell server is not set up for a Mac environment. It will be in a month or so. If on that new server files in folders become accessible, ARDI has a very nice extra bell on Executor for people running Warp. Maybe Cliff and friends can look into this, because, really, you are very near a working network connection! Keep up the good work!
