- Greetings,
-
- I wanted to let you all know that a great game from Maxis works fairly
- well under Executor. 'A Train' is a simulation similar to SimCity but
- you're in control of setting up trains. It runs at a nice clip, with
- smooth animation. There are a couple of quirks though. For some reason
- you can't save games onto a .hfv drive. It saves with no apparent error,
- but when you try to reload, it says it can't load. It loads fine from
- the Linux partition though. That's the first trouble I've had with the
- .hfv drive, i.e. text files from Microsoft Word save there just fine.
- Another quirk is that under Linux the speed control doesn't work very
- well, slows it down too much, but it works well under DOS.
-
- Anyway, this game is only $15 from Maxis, well worth the money. Just do
- a Lycos search for Maxis under WWW and you'll find it.
