Sender: owner-paper@nacm.com Precedence: bulk Hi Folks, We never planned for 1.99o to have so many lives. We'd like to roll 1.99p real soon and plan on fixing these bugs before we do so: HyperCard dies during startup (fixed in the lab) executor -debug all dies during startup (fixed in the lab) Browser displays garbage in some circumstances involving compressed icons (fix on the way) If anyone knows of any regressions that occurred between 1.99o and 1.99o9, please let us know, since we try to make sure that each experimental version is better than the previous one. In that way, 1.99o9 is largely a trial balloon of 1.99p. We know there are still some important missing features and many bad bugs, but overall 1.99o9 is *much* better than 1.99o, so we will only delay the release of 1.99p to fix bugs that weren't present in 1.99o. As always, thanks for your input. --Cliff ctm@ardi.com
