  13. Hi,
  14.     I have a slow connection for downloading as well, but what I do is get
  15. the download starting then set it up to download while i'm away from the
  16. system.

  18.     I have a UNIX account.   To download when you're not logged in:-
  19.  
  20.         1) log into system as normal
  21.         2) start ftp as normal
  22.         3) once it has started downloading press CTRL and Z
  23.         4) It will say 'Stopped'
  24.         5) Now type bg
  25.         6) repeat the above for each file.
  26.         7) Once you have finished, log out.
  27.  
  28.     The files you asked it to download will be downloaded while you are
  29. logged out, you can come back later that day and they will be there in full.
