Starting today, Monday, September 11, she is a full-time ARDI employee. Like everyone else at ARDI, Melissa will have many (too many) jobs. In general, she will be the person who takes and processes Executor orders and who handles e-mail and telephone technical support. However, Melissa is qualified to do much more than that and we hope she'll also have time to maintain our FAQ, improve our web pages and write better documentation for Executor. It's a tricky situation, because we'd rather have someone else doing the order processing and have Melissa doing higher level functions but we can't afford to hire someone to do only those jobs because it's too hard to predict just how many orders for Executor we'll get during this pre-beta period. Of course once 2.0 ships we'll be able to hire more employees and hence be able to more efficiently use Melissa's talents. Please note, for the five weeks prior to today, Mat and I have been doing the order fulfillment and Executor technical support, with most of it being my responsibility. I have fallen behind and will be working with Melissa to get caught up, but that means that there have been delays. The delays are all my fault, not Melissa's fault in the least, so please welcome Melissa and remember to blame the delays of late on me, not her. We hope to be running smoothly by the beginning of next week. --Cliff ctm@ardi.com
