  45. Hi Folks,
  46.  
  47. I just discovered that if you hide the *Hyphenation files that Adobe
  48. Illustrator 5.5 will limp under Executor.  There seem to be some
  49. problems with it tracking mouse drags and I'm sure there are other
  50. bugs that I haven't found yet, but I've opened a few sample files and
  51. those display nicely.  Right now I'm doing my work under E/L, but E/D
  52. should be able to do this as well.

  54. Anyone who wants to can make a list of problems that Executor 1.99o7
  55. has with Illustrator 5.5 and send it to bugs@ardi.com.  We'll try to
  56. get as many of them fixed by the time 2.0 ships as possible.

  70. I uploaded E/L-1.99o7 SVGA from vorlon, (couldn't wait for 1.99p )
  71. to test the speed improvement with respect to X-windows.

  73. Unfortunately it crashes and I have to reboot because the screen
  74. turns black and I can't change to another VC. I tried to capture the
  75. stderr output in a file, but that seems to disable a svga app to
  76. change to graphics mode.

  79. Linux 1.2.1 with serial mouse
  80. svgalib1.2.7
  81. S3 card with GenDac Ramdac
  82.  
  83. The svga version of DOOM runs fine ..

  111.   Ditto, for a 1.3.7 kernel and ATT21C498 S3 2Mb card.  I can switch to
  112. alternate consoles, login and start up X11.  The process table shows two
  113. executor processes running, I can kill them but nothing restores the text
  114. mode.

  129. i've been trying to get svga lib 1.2.7 installed on my system but it 
  130. doesn't want to work.

  132. i'm running linux 1.2.11, ELF.  the compilations always work and give 
  133. minor ignored errors.

  135. if i compile using the ELF makefiles in src and gl things go ok but if i 
  136. try to use these i get this error (i was trying to run zgv since it loads 
  137. fast).
