  27. That helped a lot.  Unfortunately it ruled out the problem that I was
  28. expecting.  I now don't see any reason why Executor/DOS shouldn't be
  29. able to read and write to a SCSI zip drive, assuming that the PC has a
  30. SCSI port and either supports BIOS calls to read and write SCSI drives
  31. or has ASPI drivers.  Ziv Arazi was the first person to report this
  32. problem and I believe that Ziv has used other Mac formatted SCSI
  33. drives with Executor.

  35. There is no support for the Parallel port version of the Zip drive,
  36. but as far as I can see the format of a Mac zip diskette (at least the
  37. format of *Elan's* Mac zip diskette) is the same format that we're
  38. handling in other cases.  ARDI now has to go back to the drawing board
  39. on this one.  I think the only solution will be to buy one, which
  40. isn't something we can do for another couple of weeks.
