  8. I uploaded E/L-1.99o7 SVGA from vorlon, (couldn't wait for 1.99p )
  9. to test the speed improvement with respect to X-windows.
  10.  
  11. Unfortunately it crashes and I have to reboot because the screen
  12. turns black and I can't change to another VC. I tried to capture the
  13. stderr output in a file, but that seems to disable a svga app to
  14. change to graphics mode.

  16. Configuration:
  17. Linux 1.2.1 with serial mouse
  18. svgalib1.2.7
  19. S3 card with GenDac Ramdac
  20.  
  21. The svga version of DOOM runs fine ..
