  15. Hi Folks -- especially NEXTSTEP/Intel users,

  17. ftp://ftp.ardi.com/pub/BleedingEdge/nextstepintel199o6.tar.gz contains
  18. an Executor.app which will run under NEXTSTEP/Intel.  It's in
  19. BleedingEdge because it is *very* rough.  Here are some of the known
  20. problems (off the top of my head):

  22.     Printing doesn't work
  23.  
  24.     The graphics are very slow
  25.  
  26.     The Browser doesn't know to display ExecutorVolume
  27.  
  28.     You will have to re-run Executor as root after you key
  29.     in your registration information
  30.  
  31. NOTE: any NEXTSTEP user can use the following Serial Number / Key
  32. combination to play with this bleeding edge release.  Your current S/N
  33. and Key *will not* work with this version:

  35.     S/N: 0
  36.     Key: khrz38bfmcjrn

  38. This key will not work with the DOS or Linux version and it will
  39. expire at the end of September.

  41. We are still working on Executor/Motorola and are continuing to fix
  42. the bugs mentioned above.  We do not plan on posting anything to any
  43. NEXTSTEP usenet group until we've fixed a few of the problems
  44. mentioned above.  Working on E/NS continues at a very high priority.

  46. BTW, with the new synthetic CPU that's in this version of Executor, a
  47. 75 MHz Pentium will execute 68040 code faster than a 25 MHz 68040 and
  48. a 90 MHz Pentium will execute 68040 code faster than a 33 MHz 68040.
