  26. WHAT??!!!! I just DON'T understand this!  If Executor didn't exist, the 
  27. only alternative would be to BUY A MAC.  That is MUCH more that $50.00
  28. Therefore Executor is worth MORE than $50.00.

  30. It is this sort of thing that makes me recommend a copy protection scheme. I
  31. remember a interesting copy protection scheme my friend told me that he saw
  32. on his NeXT.  He was 'trying' out an app.  He changed the 'Registration'
  33. information on it.  It changed properly.  The next time he ran the 
  34. program he saw his modem light up. The program was trying to e-mail the 
  35. authors to tell them about an un-authorized copy.  It even set up a cron 
  36. job to repeatedly send it every day.

  38. Please people, if you need to use executor but can't afford it, then 
  39. DON'T USE IT!  The price is completely reasonable.  Don't steal!  If you 
  40. you, may the bad karma come back and erase your hard disk and backups!

  42. I am a Linux user as well, Bernie.  Remember that the GNU PUBLIC LICENSE 
  43. and the FREE SOFTWARE FOUNDATION have NOTHING to do with software that 
  44. doesn't cost any money.  The 'FREE' that they refer to is your FREEDOM to 
  45. access the source code and modify it.

  47. It costs money to develop and support software.  Be fair.

  49. $50.00 is the cost of a few pizzas and beer!  Do you eat pizza?
