  30. We don't have a copy of SimCity 2000 over here to test, but I'd guess
  31. that the pixel dust problem is more likely to be a multi-byte
  32. per-pixel graphics problem, although, of the ARDI engineers, I'm the
  33. least qualified to say.  The registration popping up thing may simply
  34. be an artifact of our "normal" graphics caching.  If you turn
  35. animation on you might see that window after all.

  43. Oops.  It's "emustubs.c:nnn fatal error in `doselectorblock' ..."
  44. Very reproducible over here.  I know what's causing it.  I can think
  45. of a couple ways to fix it.  Hopefully I can get to it over the
  46. weekend.  I'm sort of looking for a reason to release 1.99o5 anyway,
  47. since Apeiron now works over here (you can move and shoot), although
  48. under X it requires refresh which slows things down a bit.

  54. Well, 2.0 won't have "full" Sys7 support, but the support will be much
  55. nicer than what we currently have out here.  1.99o3 was meant
  56. primarily to let people get a peek at what we're doing, and to let
  57. early adopters start playing with NIH Image 1.58.  1.99o4 just
  58. corrected some of the egregious bugs in 1.99o3.  However, there are
  59. still many parts of the System 7 filesystem subsystem that haven't
  60. been implemented at all (they're on my platter).

  62. Drop in OS replacement is still a goal of ours, but it will take us at
  63. least a year *after* we release 2.0.
