  14. I love seeing those Bleeding Edge releases...  I'm not sure if anyone 
  15. else has seen the same problems I have or not, so I thought I'd post some
  16. of my experience with the latest Bleeding Edge (199o4).  I'm using E/L on 
  17. a PCI-bus 486DX2 w/ an S3-Trio Video card:

  19. 1)  SimCity 2000 loads for the first time ever!  (Thanks to the new 
  20.      -system 7 command!)  I get the title screen, and can go past to what
  21.      appears to be the "playing" mode...  (I'll explain..)  There are some
  22.      odd quirks that may be good for ARDI to debug.  First off, the window
  23.      that says "This copy is Registered to..."  doesn't pop-up in the 
  24.      center of the screen as does a true-mac.  Secondly, the "mini-menus"
  25.      appear to be gibberish--just a bunch of pixel dust... Are these just
  26.      system seven specific things that don't work yet?

  28. 2)  Microsoft Word5.1a doesn't work anymore... :-(  I'm at work, so I 
  29.       can't tell you the exact error now, but If someone wants to know, I'll
  30.       tell you.  (I'm sure ARDI either already knows this, or its a matter
  31.       of some config files that were changed and not included in the 
  32.       Bleeding Edge...)

  34. Its looking great!  Looking forward to full Sys7 support (not to mention 
  35. drop in OS replacement support in the future.

  37. By the way, I have seen a "look and feel" enhancer for the macintosh on my
  38. friends machine a while back.  It basically changed the graphics for the
  39. windows, scrollbars, file icons, etc...  Does anyone know if this would
  40. work on executor?  Or have any idea of how I could get it to work?  (Is this
  41. is what is called an INIT?  could I simply drag+drop it onto the hot band?)
