  31. Each *application* has preferences associated with it.  If Marathon's
  32. preferences say "use 1 bit per pixel", Executor will switch to 1 bpp
  33. every time you run Marathon, regardless of what bpp was being used
  34. before you ran it.  That's why saving the 256 color setting after
  35. Marathon is already up is a good idea; that will assure that it starts
  36. out in 8bpp from the beginning.  I hope this helps.  Good luck!
