  28. Neither of these solutions seems to work under E/D v1.99o, FWIW.  Setting
  29. the refresh rate via ALT-SHIFT-5 puts E/D into some kind of hold state
  30. (the mouse pointer flashes periodically, and no input is accepted either 
  31. via keyboard or mouse).

  33. Is VESA 2.0 required to use refresh?  Or are there other settings (like 
  34. timer ON/OFF) that might affect it?
