  27. Not necessarily, but it usually takes a lot of reading to find out,
  28. and it's better to err on the side of caution.  Often shareware has an
  29. e-mail address that you can ask questions or permission of.

  39. I would recommend *against* ".gz", since the DOS world is apt to be
  40. stymied by such an extension.  ".zip" is probably best.
