  17. Hate to tell you this, but the Finder is really an APPL.  Just that on a 
  18. real Mac, the type has been changed. :-)  The problem isn't the file 
  19. type, the finder is really an App.  The problem is that the finder is 
  20. very close to the system software which isn't available the same exact 
  21. way on Executor. :-)

  23. It used to be that you could run old versions of the Finder on new Macs 
  24. with the new system software --- pre 7.0.0 that is...  It would work and 
  25. also crash occasionally.
