  5. I've been trying to figure out the following problem for days now:

  7.      How do I set up a PIF file to enable Executor to run twice at once?  (The
  8. only way to do Executor Multitasking at this point.)  I've tried allocating
  9. a limit of XMS as small as 512 and as large as -1 (as much as wanted by the
  10. application) and conventional as small as 210 and as large as -1, and setting
  11. the second PIF to -1 on all... the first always runs just fine... the second
  12. always says "Not enough DPMI memory."  (By the way, the numbers above are
  13. in Kilobytes.)
  14.      Anyway, I have approx. 4 Meg of true physical RAM which should be 
  15. available at Executor run time to run it... shouldn't that be enough to 
  16. run it twice?  (Barely...)  I mean, that leaves about .5 Meg to run the applzone
  17. on, which will work (I've tried it...)

  19.      Does anyone know how to set the PIFs?  Or how to ensure that Windows leave

  21. as much physcial RAM available as possible (i.e. use up virtual memory and
  22. softRAM first -- softRAM is not interfering, by the way.  Already checked that.)
