You can add 386Max to that list. Executor runs well under 386Max, better than under Windows or CWSDPMI in fact. This section should also mention that Executor will crash when Novell DPMS (Dos Protected Mode Services) is running. This is the memory manager used by Novell DOS and Stacker. Fortunately, Stacker can be run without it if you are using another memory manager such as 386Max, and doesn't use it when you are running Windows. A simple fix, so it should mentioned in the FAQ in the DPMI section. Version 1.99o works well. Speedometer is useful: I installed a disk cache after I ran it, and Executor sped up dramatically. I noticed that the benchmarks run faster the second time; cache and recompilation effects I assume. Overall, an amazing product! I can't wait to see what 2.0 brings us! Brian Hawley bhawley@luc.edu
