  17. 1.99o is out.  ftp.ardi.com is fairly swamped, so you might want to go

  23. There is also an alternate distribution for DOS which can easily be
  24. installed using two floppy disks.

  26. Please note, this is largely a maintenance release -- I suggest that
  27. people use it instead of the previous bleeding edge patches though.
  28. There is very little new functionality in 1.99o that wasn't in 1.99n5.

  30. There is not a NEXTSTEP port of 1.99o; progress has been made on the
  31. port, but Cotton's plane tickets were bought in advance, so now that
  32. he's here, Hackathon I is in full swing and all that we'll be working
  33. on is core technology (i.e. bug fixes that will benefit all of our
  34. users).  We will resume work on the NEXTSTEP port in two weeks, when
  35. Hackathon I is over.

  37. BTW, both Mat and I still have some e-mail to process (I think I have
  38. about 80 pieces).  After I finish getting the back orders of Executor
  39. out that piled up last week when Vaune quit, I'll get current in my
  40. e-mail.  Order taking, bug report noting and question answering will
  41. continue during the hackathon.
