  21. Yes, its quite easy, depending on what system you are copying these to.
  22. I believe that a program called "sox" will convert these files, and is 
  23. available as source, compilable on any platform.

  25. I use Linux, and the Lsox package available on sunsite.  All I ahve to do 
  26. is type
  27. sox quack quack.au
  28. and it will make an .au file that I can play.
  29. sox quack quack.wav
  30. makes a .wav file.

  32. If you use DOS or OS/2, I think you can archie for something called sox 
  33. to do the same thing...
