  11.     (I somehow haven't recieved any executor messages lately - I 
  12. resubsribed yesterday though.)

  14.     I haven't spent much time with 1.99n, but I already have a couple 
  15. of thoughts :

  17.     1.  When will the SVGAlib version be completed and released?  It 
  18. looks pretty close to hackathon time now...
  19.  
  20.     2.  I noticed that in 1.99n, the `animation' technique is now 
  21. used all the time with the new blitter.  It makes things a bit slower 
  22. under X-Windows, I'm afraid, than the cached approach used in 1.99m.

  24.     3.  Pagemaker 4.2 still dosen't work - this time any attempt to 
  25. place a file will segfault right away. :(  I did notice the bug report 
  26. listed in bugs.199n though...

  28.     4.  What is the current release schedule?  Will there be a 1.99o 
  29. before the hackathon?

  31.     5.  Will there ever be any `alpha' releases or snapshots?  It 
  32. seems we all have to wait a while for new full releases to come out - 
  33. which are beta quality.  It would be nice to see more frequent releases - 
  34. even if they're buggier.  (as in 1.99n1, n2, n3) - the ones without 
  35. numbers being stabilized betas.
