I haven't spent much time with 1.99n, but I already have a couple of thoughts : 1. When will the SVGAlib version be completed and released? It looks pretty close to hackathon time now... 2. I noticed that in 1.99n, the `animation' technique is now used all the time with the new blitter. It makes things a bit slower under X-Windows, I'm afraid, than the cached approach used in 1.99m. 3. Pagemaker 4.2 still dosen't work - this time any attempt to place a file will segfault right away. :( I did notice the bug report listed in bugs.199n though... 4. What is the current release schedule? Will there be a 1.99o before the hackathon? 5. Will there ever be any `alpha' releases or snapshots? It seems we all have to wait a while for new full releases to come out - which are beta quality. It would be nice to see more frequent releases - even if they're buggier. (as in 1.99n1, n2, n3) - the ones without numbers being stabilized betas. Good luck - and Executor 2.0 looks like it will be really cool when it comes out! Keep it up! - Chad
