  14.     (I somehow haven't recieved any executor messages lately - I 
  15. resubsribed yesterday though.)

  17.     I haven't spent much time with 1.99n, but I already have a couple 
  18. of thoughts :

  20.     1.  When will the SVGAlib version be completed and released?  It 
  21. looks pretty close to hackathon time now...
  22.  
  23.     2.  I noticed that in 1.99n, the `animation' technique is now 
  24. used all the time with the new blitter.  It makes things a bit slower 
  25. under X-Windows, I'm afraid, than the cached approach used in 1.99m.

  27.     3.  Pagemaker 4.2 still dosen't work - this time any attempt to 
  28. place a file will segfault right away. :(  I did notice the bug report 
  29. listed in bugs.199n though...

  31.     4.  What is the current release schedule?  Will there be a 1.99o 
  32. before the hackathon?

  34.     5.  Will there ever be any `alpha' releases or snapshots?  It 
  35. seems we all have to wait a while for new full releases to come out - 
  36. which are beta quality.  It would be nice to see more frequent releases - 
  37. even if they're buggier.  (as in 1.99n1, n2, n3) - the ones without 
  38. numbers being stabilized betas.
