  14. I just got Executor/DOS 1.99n and tried to run it on my computer.  No 
  15. luck.  The screen goes black, then Executor checks the disk drives.  The 
  16. computer does not seem to lock up, but the screen never comes back.  In 
  17. fact, if I reboot, the reboot process goes normally, but the screen 
  18. remains black.

  20. My system configuration:

  22. Quantex 486/66
  23. 16MB RAM
  24. ALGX Cirrus Logic 5434
  25. Windows 95

  27. I have tried the following:

  29. * Boot to DOS rather than Windows
  30.  
  31. * Run Executor with  -size 640x480
  32.  
  33. * Run Executor with  -applzone 8192
  34.  
  35. * Re-download and reinstall Executor
  36.  
  37. * Run univbe51
  38.  
  39. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver
  40.  
  41. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver + univbe51
  42.  
  43.  
  44. I am a registered user of E/Linux, but over the summer I don't have a 
  45. machine with Linux loaded, so I was hoping to run E/D.

  47. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated!
