I am running XF86 3.1.1 and Linux 1.2.8 and I've experienced other instances of programs leaking memory. For instance, Netscape 1.1N gobbles up all my memory and freezes sometimes when I save a large document as TEXT, it finishes saving and then just keeps eating up memory. I've also had similar problems with Mosaic but not just with saving. It seems a bit odd to me that this happens with these other large production programs. It would tend to make me believe it is something with XF86 possibly, or it could be Linux 1.2.8 for me and 1.2.10 for you all. But in any case, I've had no real problems yet with 1.2.8 and E/L 1.99n, so if you need to switch kernels, try that one. Jesse Hong
