  17. After E/L 1.99n was released, a fairly serious bug was reported, the
  18. symptoms of which are in some rare circumstances Executor will just
  19. quit it if it sees a particular pair of files.

  21. I've been looking into this bug instead of getting E/D 1.99n out the
  22. door because at the onset it wasn't clear just how penetrating this
  23. bug is.  It now looks like it's pretty rare, but I still plan to fix
  24. it before E/D 1.99n is released.  I'll then make a small patch
  25. available to E/L users who run into this bug.

  27. Depending on the nature of the fix, we may have to do a bunch of
  28. testing before we can release E/D, so like before, it could be a
  29. matter of a few hours, it could be a day or more.
