More memory now will definitely improve Executor/X-Windows performance. At some point after we get Executor/NEXTSTEP going again, we are likely to have an SVGALIB version of Executor/Linux. It is not clear how much memory Executor/SVGALIB will need. In addition, our Linux version is not particularly tuned toward efficient memory use, but even when it is, Executor itself is about 1.5 MB and needs room for the Mac program that you're going to run. It also needs room for the memory that the Mac program requires and beyond that there is need for additional memory for the translated to x86 version of the Mac program Executor's running, so even a memory-tuned SVGALIB version is still going to take up a bunch of memory if you want to do anything interesting with it. --Cliff
