Eric Solitaire (From the Executor disks) -------------- Have you tried to resize the play window? It crashes. Prince of Persia ---------------- I have finished both the demo and commercial version, and disabling sound and music works perfect. Just GrandMa and Me ------------------- Its a "Living Book" CD from Bronderbund. The startup screens are displayed ok, you choose your name, your skills and historical period to play, but when you are going to fight (The 1st thing you can do in the game) it hags No ALT-MAYS-1 or ALT-MAYS-5. The mouse still moves, but i can only press CTRL-BRK to go to DOS. MACTOOLS 7.0 ------------ As well as other bugs, it only display the files on the actual folder, it does not recognize any folder. When i ask Mactools to verify the hard disk it says: Error in block:xx Error number: -46 It says the same when doing with a MAC disk I can edit and modify any file without any trouble though! Teach Text ---------- Seems to have windows problems, but is operative. >From Alice to Ocean CD ---------------------- Its a demo of interactive publishing, combinining narration, photographs, video and music. Tracks 2 - 9 contain narration wich can be heard using a CD-audio player. Compressors ----------- *MAC LHA 2.13 Has fonts problems, but works fast and fine! *UUlite 1.7 It does not compress well, and when the browser tries to show the icon of a uulited (bad) file, it goes to DOS. *Zip it 1.3.1 Crashes while seeing the About! The ADD ALL button seems to have problems too. Communications -------------- *Comm-It 1.8 Appart of the logical error when accessing to the modem, it works perfectly, BUT when you are playing a little with it, it runs out of memory, just like Cricket Graph. *Telefinder BBS demo It goes to DOS without saying anything! *Telefinder User demo It goes to DOS without saying anything! Conversors ----------- *Data convertn", and goes back to bra program to convert non mac database files to a Mac readable database format! *Drop Text It says: Error, 1001 ocurred. and goes back to browser *Easy convert 3.1 When runned it goes back to the browser without saying anything! (you now you have clicked it cos the hot band disappeared a while) *Graphic converter 1.77 It says :" A Macintosh II, LC, Clasic or Quadra is needed" and goes back to browser. Text Editors -------------- *BBEdit 3.1 demo Seems to work without troubles, fast from CD! *DOC Maker 4.1 It has problems with the NEW button. *DOC reader A strange text "reader", works without problems! *Easy view 2.44e It says (in spanish) "your computer lacks the required hardware or software to run this application", and goes back to browser *Easy view 2.60 Just the same that 2.44e Science and educational ----------------------- *Clock 2.0 It hanged everything (Just power down). It seemed to be an astrological program. The icon of the executable was like Hypercard (I think). *Calculator y=mx+b It asks you for the M value, (I answered 3) and then it enters on an infinite look saying ?Redo from start Please enter the m value: A lot of nonsenses (square nonsenses) and then it says redo again! *MAC repairs 2.1a A executable hypertext doc, that shows how you can upgrade and repair the most common problems of mac. It has some problems (Draws out of their windows) etc, but its operative. *Math Stars 3.0 It covers with nonsense the upper bar (File and so on), and then claims for errors on accesing their files (ERROR Nb -41) Graphics -------- *Gif converter 2.3.7 it says: "Your computer lacks the required ..." and goes back to browser *Games ------ *Alex v1.16 It says: "You dont have enough memory to run this game" (I am using -applzone 8000) *Apeiron 1.01 The installer says "I cant create a temporary file on your startup disk. It must be locked or too full" I have created a 5 Mbytes system volume, but i get the same error. I have started with -nobrowser and the same happens! The installer is made using "Smaller installer" by Bill Goodman *Bloodsuckers It goes to DOS without saying anything! The browser does not recognize its icon. *Bombz1.2 It seems to work, but slowly. Not a very good game The browser dont recognize its icon *Chiral 1.0.0 It uses "Smaller installer", by Bill Goodman (See Apeiron 1.01) *Dirt Bike 2.0 Has graphics problems. It is supposed to be an amazing digitalized bike (like the icons one) for playing on a ground circuit, but i only see three lines. (refresh does not do anything!) *FRAC 1.0 It says "Your computer lacks the required ..." Very adictive. *Maelstrom 1.4.1 It uses "Smaller installer", by Bill Goodman (See Apeiron 1.01) *Mancala 2.0d5 Works perfect, a strange board game! The browser does not recognize the icon! *Ninja boy World Detects some problem with sound even using pretend, and run itself in silent mode seems to have trouble reading from keyboard the movements. very slow! *S'ydnar Squares 2.0 A colorful amazing like tetris game!!! It is incredible adictive... but very sensible: If you move the mouse while loading it hangs! some times you get the upper bar (File, Tiles,...) corrupted, and if you press it hangs... If someone can play (I could, and i like it) the keys are a,s,l. *Sthout saying anything! *Graph 2.2.1 An amazing stadistic and data program. When started it says: ERROR: Not such volume (several times) but you can go on! (I have tried from a clean solution (you cant in 1.99l), but goes very slow... In 320x200 you can play very well (i feel strange, not slow,not fast) In other resolutions it goes tooooo slow (Mat, we need your faster blitter here 8-) ) Amazing! Utilities ---------- *ADB Prober Its a program that check what is connected to the Apple Desktop bus. It works, but does not recognize anything! Maybe this little piece of code helps Ardi guys! *AT 1.0.0 Seems to be a clock! but goes to DOS without saying anything *Clipstation It goes to DOS without saying anything! *EZDB 2.0 It goes to DOS without saying anything! *Graph 2.2.1 An amazing stadistic and data program. (I have tried from a clean Executor) When starting it double clicking from a doc, it runs OK, so i investigated, and this error happens when trying to open a PICT file! (Background.PICT) *Font view 1.5 It allows you to test all the fonts installed on the MAC! Other stuff =========== Foxbase + v 1.10 It has trouble opening the samples. I dont know how to use it, but seems to work fine MAC Populous I have not played a full game, but works without troubles (Well, at least during 5 minutes doing everything imaginable) SimLife Has drawing problems. I cant see the buttons and text in lots of windows, and it is not a refresh problem Startwars v1.0 It hangs everything, only CTRL-BRK at the startup screen! Aldus Superpaint 3.0 After the startup screen it hangs! Hope it works Emilio
