- I was wondering how the applzone thing works.
- I have a 486 with 12 megs of ram, 11 megs available and 605k conventional
- free. I am using EMM386 and HIMEM with dos 6.22.
-
- Yet, executor only runs with -applzone 3000 or smaller.
-
- If i just type executor, it says it needs more memory, try a smaller
- applzone.
-
- Does it need extra memory for swapping, and if so, how much. Either way,
- I should be able to specify an applzone of at least 8000.
- The only way I have gotten a bigger applzone is to boot with no HIMEM or
- EMM386 driver.
-
- Even then, if i use the Aldus installer utility it shows some funky
- number for memory available. Looks ike 15922343 or something.
